The Ferguson P99
Jamie Sheldon and Barrie 'Whizzo' Williams trace the history and development of this historic '4-wheel-drive' racing car.
The original design by the late Harry Ferguson of 'tractor fame' was never realised in his life time.
The P99 was launched at the 1961 British Empire Trophy at Silverstone, driven by Jack Fairman. In September 1961 it was raced to victory by Stirling Moss at Oulton Park
winning the Gold Cup by 46 seconds from Jack Brabham.
