Neville Hay continues the story of GP racing in the early years of the 60s. It's 1960 and the French Grand Prix at Reims took place in July of that year - sadly neither venue nor event are with us anymore. From Reims it was to Silverstone for the R.A.C. British GP, witnessing the drive of the race by Graham Hill who had initially stalled on the grid. Hill climbed to the front of the pack by lap 55 only to 'stuff the virtually brakeless B.R.M. into the bank' with a mere 6 laps to go!
