Morgan Maverick The Editor previews the new 'auto-biography' by development engineer, racing driver and businessman Chris Lawrence. Perhaps best known for his exploits driving and tuning Morgans (including the famous TOK 258 at Le Mans), Lawrence competed in contemporary Grands Prix, founded the ill-fated Monica marque and still found time to work on the Morgan Aero 8 sports car as well as enjoy ocean-racing.
Peter Blond - Enthusiast - The concluding part of the editor's interview with the 1950s racing driver Peter Blond. Peter has retired from full-time racing and describes how he bought a run-down cinema in Wigan for £5000 that was used as a clothing factory for Marks & Spencer. Having retired from the rag trade seeing the 'orange light' of foreign competition, Blond devoted the rest of his life to buying and selling old cars, flying, and sailing.
The Ecurie Ecosse Tours - 1994 Tom Candlish continues the story of the exclusive Scottis driving event. It's 1994 and included in the entry list is Burkhard von Schenk's 1936 Alfa Romeo 8C-2900A.
