Fifty Years of Fun: Ford GT40 - Willie Green
Having progressed through various small-engined sports cars (Lotus Elite, Ginetta etc.), Willie Green starts the 1968 long-distance racing season at the famous Nürburgring sharing a Ford GT40 - chassis 1010, the remains if an Essex Wire car no less - with its owner, Pete Sadler. His first prcatice lap was completed in nearly 20 minutes due to snow on the hill up to Hohe Acht! Later that year the pair tackle the 1,000 Kms of Spa and Monthlery, where they finished third overall and won the GT category.

The following year Willie drives another GT40 (chassis 1013) with Johnny Blades at Vila Real in Northern Portugal, and later on swaps 1013 for 1010, the old Sadler car, and enters that year's Tour de France. With John Davenport as a co-driver, the pair are highly-fancied, although a stripped transmission on the start of the last hill-climb means retirement. Having owned (and traded) many GT40s over the years, Willie reckons he holds the record for the most road and race miles in the type.

Robs Lamplough Racing Reminiscences V: Historic Aircraft -
An ex-RAF pilot, Robs' interest in flying is re-kindled in 1973 with the purchase of a 1940 Harvard Advanced Trainer. A visit to Israel in the mid-'70s on an abortive search for two Hawker Hurricanes resulted in the discovery of a fairly complete Mustang that he shipped back to the UK. A Spitfire then came from Australia and the collaction is housed at his farm.

The Alfred Dunhill Tour - Mike Jackson
Riding a loaned 1962 650cc BSA Rocket Gold Star, Mike Jackson joins a select group of motoring celebrities and afficianados on two wheels and four for the inaugural Motorities Tour. The Tour included three Mclaren F1s (Nick Mason, David Clark and the car's designer, Gordon Murray) and Mike describes the first, rather wet, day riding from London to Arras in Northern France.
