Driving the Great French Sports Racing Cars of the Thirties -
Past owner of a 135 Delahaye Corse replica, and present owner of both a Delage D6 75 and Talbot Lago, French sports car enthusiast Robert Heelis describes the beautiful racing cars of the 1930s that so captivated him as a child spectating at the Donington TT in 1937/1938.

Sports car racing had been greatly encouraged at that time by the French racing authorities decision to hold the 1936 French GP under FIA sports car rules, following the humilation of Bugatti the previous year by the familiar 1930s Auto Union and Mercedes-Benz steamroller. The beautiful blue cars from Talbot, Delahaye, Delage and Bugatti that resulted, sum-up the romantic pre-war era of continental racing on real road-racing circuits.

To Le Mans with Eric Thompson and VMF 65 -
Works Aston Martin driver Thompson and the car he would have driven in the 1950 event (had co-driver Jack Fairman not crashed it on the way over) were re-united in 1990, when journalist Eoin Young co-drive the car down for the pre-event historic cavalcade.

Motorbike Miscellany -
